Well, for some this is no longer
a problem. The COSTA-REACTION.COM web site has been specially set
up in order to allow victims of another website that has been spreading
bogus and misleading information for several years to have their say
Attempts aimed at achieving the prosecution and/or closing down of
offending web sites involving legal even an order to close a site
usually does little more than make it move to an offshore jurisdiction
where it cannot be pursued. Apart from that, the cost of any such
legal action can run into many thousands of euros with no certainty
of being able to obtain justice at the end of the day.
Any person or organisation that has been affected by the
spreading of malicious information and falsehoods by so-
called 'protection' and vigilante groups is welcome to
post a response on this site. We will not enter into
legal arguments but any information submitted must be
authentic and will be subject to verification. Nor will
any material be accepted that is of a libelous or
misleading nature.
We also reserve the right to publish any personal
information regarding individuals who participate in the
spreading of false information and make up such vigilante
groups. The justification for this is that via their web
site/s they have been involved in pursuing exactly the
same tactics, not being content to limit their activities
to corporate entities
